A 3.5-metre Late Cretaceous snake from India, famously fossilised coiled around dinosaur eggs. This ancient predator specialised in hunting sauropod hatchlings at nesting sites.
Repenomamus
A badger-sized Cretaceous mammal that broke the mould. Fossil evidence proves this 25-pound predator actively hunted dinosaurs, including juvenile Psittacosaurus.
Argentavis
The largest flying bird ever discovered, with a 7-metre wingspan rivalling a Cessna aircraft. This Miocene apex predator soared over Argentina hunting small mammals.
